TIG Torch Technical Parameters

Application

The TIG welding torch is a argon arc welding machine accessory that assists in the TIG welding process. Suitable for tungsten pole, DC and DC pulse argon shielded welding. The role of the torch is to clamp the tungsten, conduct current and deliver shielding gas.

Instructions

1. According to the welder capacity and the characteristics of the gas circuit and circuit, use the matched torch.

2. The tungsten rod and the chuck are selected according to the welding procedure specification, and the tungsten rod is ground to a corresponding angle on the sharpening machine

Select nozzles according to the following requirements

Nozzle diameter

Tungsten rod diameter

4. The tungsten rod, the chuck, and the nozzle are sequentially mounted on the torch. Connect the torch cable connector to the welder connector.Adjust the welding current and press the torch switch to start welding.

Attention

1. The torch operating current is not greater than the rated current.

2. When using the torch, the welder's rated load duration should be strictly follow up.

3. The cylinder output pressure should be between 0.1 and 0.3 MPa.

4. In the arc-ignition test, the welding process should be simulated. The torch should swing back and forth on the arc-striking plate to prevent arcing for a long time at a certain point to prevent the heat radiation from burning the torch.

5. Water-cooled welding torch, circulating water pressure 0.1~0.2MPa, water flow>1.5L/min.

6. In an environment where the risk of electric shock is greatly increased, electric shock should be prevented. Drying the insulating object allows you to insulate the workpiece from the ground, ensuring that the insulating object is large enough to keep you from touching the workpiece and the ground. The welder and workpiece must be reliably “grounded”. Do not touch live parts.
