2 to prevent arc radiation

Strong arc and UV rays from the welding arc can damage the eyes and skin. When multi-person welding operation, it is necessary to pay attention to avoid mutual influence. It is advisable to set the arc protection screen or take other measures to avoid the cross-effect of arc radiation.

Fire-fighting facilities should be installed near the welding site. 3 to prevent fire

In the welding operation source of less than 10m, below the aerial work and within the scope of welding Mars, organic dust, wood, wood chips, cotton yarn, straw mat, oil, gasoline, paint and other flammable materials should be thoroughly removed. If there are flammable materials that cannot be evacuated, such as wood, flammable materials that have not been removed and insulated, reliable safety measures should be taken, such as spraying with water, covering wet sacks, asbestos cloth, etc.

4 to prevent explosion

Within 10m of the welding operation point, there shall be no explosives. In the room with explosive mixed gas such as oil depot, oil room, acetylene station and spray booth, welding operation is strictly prohibited. Do not weld on pressure vessels and pipes with pressure inside without special measures. Before welding the container filled with inflammable and explosive materials, the contents should be exhausted and replaced with water, steam or nitrogen, and cleaned: the concentration of the gas medium is checked and analyzed with a measuring instrument such as a blasting instrument; When opening the lid, the operator must hide from the container orifice.

5 to prevent toxic gases and smoke poisoning

When welding arc welding, it will produce toxic gases such as soluble fluorine, hydrogen fluoride, manganese, nitrogen oxides and dust, which will lead to fluorine poisoning, manganese poisoning, electric welding dust and lungs, especially the alkaline welding rod is welded inside the container and pipeline. Therefore, it is necessary to take measures such as exhaust ventilation, partial ventilation, small electric welding and smoke exhausting units, etc. according to the specific conditions.
